Turkey Chili: Instant Pot (Crockpot and Stovetop Adaptable)
Chili that tastes like it’s been cooking on the stove all day, made in 30 minutes? This recipe is packed with veggies, fiber and protein to make sure your meal is balanced AND tasty. (See notes to adapt recipe to crockpot or stovetop cooking methods!)
Using the sauté feature on the instant pot, sauté the chopped onion with ground turkey until meat is browned. (See notes for crockpot or stovetop methods.)
Add the remaining ingredients and stir. Set to “soup/stew” setting or pressure cook on high for 20 minutes.
Top with a dollop of sour cream, shredded cheese, and whole grain crackers. ...& Close your eyes and pretend it is 60 degrees outside. ;)
Notes
To make in a crockpot: 1. Sauté chopped onions in skillet on stovetop and brown the ground turkey.2. Transfer to a crockpot, add remaining ingredients. Cook on low for 6 hours, or high for 3 hours. To make on stovetop:1. Sauté chopped onions in large soup pot, then brown the ground meat. 2. Add remaining ingredients, and cook on stovetop for 45 minutes.
