Peaches ‘n Cream Overnight Oats

Breakfast is a a struggle bus some weeks. Preparing ahead has helped make sure I am also eating a nutritious breakfast!v

Overnight oats are SO easy and cheap… This is a more nutritious twist on an old favorite packaged oatmeal, Peaches & Cream. Less sweet and more nutritious. 😉

Steamed for baby, microwaved for adults jars – Add the juice from microwaved peaches for extra flavor.

Baby’s Version

  • Baby Oatmeal: Happy Baby Oats & Quinoa, mixed with formula or water
  • Plain Whole Milk Yogurt: Baby’s do not need the high protein content of Greek yogurt, nor the added sugar of a flavored option
  • Pureed Peaches: Frozen peaches, steamed and pureed with water
  • A small pinch of flaxseed meal
  • A small pinch of cinnamon
  • No salt, honey or sweetener added!

Peaches ‘n Cream Overnight Oats

Throw it all in the jar, throw in the fridge, and breakfast is ready for the week!
Servings 1

Ingredients

  • 1/2 C Quick Oats
  • 1/2 C Yogurt Pain whole milk yogurt or Oikos Triple Zero Vanilla or Peach yogurt (Less added sugar is best!)
  • 1/2 C Milk or Water
  • 1 Tbsp Flaxseed Meal
  • 1/4 tsp. Cinnamon
  • Pinch Salt
  • 4 Slices of Peaches (Frozen and Thawed)

Instructions

  • Grab a mason jar, add in all the ingredients, stir, put the lid on, and place into the fridge. Refrigerate at least 8 hours before consuming.
  • I recommend reheating in the microwave, but overnight oats are meant to be enjoyed cold! If you desire more sweetness, add a touch of raw honey or more fruit.

Soul Work in the Kitchen

Opinion is really the lowest form of human knowledge. It requires no accountability, no understanding.

The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another’s world.
